I founded the Society to fill a gap in independent inventor/entrepreneur resources. After twenty plus years working in the corporate environments, I recognized the scarcity of a safe, affordable, venue for vetting, brainstorming, and improving independent product and innovation ideas. It is my personal hope that the Society will become a valuable resource to you, as I have found my association with our members and supporters to be an invaluable resource to me.

My vision for the Society is to charter chapters all around the globe. Each chapter fulfilling a peer-group role of helping our members perfect their own ideas in an atmosphere of trust, helpfulness, and friendship. My pet phrase is: Integrity Rules. It is my hope and belief that all that come to the Society will be true to themselves, to one another, and to the principles of cooperative self/group improvement.

William English, Vice President

Bill shares the vision of inventors helping one another. He often describes the process as “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” With 24 years with Ford Motor Company as a Quality Control Engineer and as a successful businessman, Bill understands the need for a clear product pitch. Any product worth its salt must have clear benefits to the customer. Bill believes the Society is the best place to get help identifying and refining just what those overt benefits are.

TechHelp provides technical and professional assistance to Idaho manufacturers, processors and inventors to strengthen their global competitiveness through continuous product and process innovation. TechHelp is a partnership of Idaho's three state universities and an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership. It is also Idaho's Economic Development Administration University Center, targeting economically distressed areas of Idaho.

Mary Givens, Director, Office of Technology Transfer at Boise State University

The Office of Technology Transfer is responsible for implementing strategies to develop private sector business opportunities based on faculty research. The Office also facilitates relationships with the technology industry and other partners.
